Groups

We are excited to announce that we will begin offering support groups soon!

For people who aren’t familiar with group therapy, groups are fantastic! Group therapy offers the opportunity for people to receive support and encouragement from members of the group who are going through similar life stressors. Group members also help to support others in the group. Helping others can increase your self-esteem and self-confidence. Members can share their stories in an unbiased atmosphere, feeling safe and supported. Members gain a feeling of belonging and acceptance, and gain a better understanding of themselves. Being part of a group helps people to see that others have similar experiences and they are not alone.

Group therapy is effective for depression, anxiety, grief, and other life stressors.
